Day 1 - Yerevan. Arrival early in the morning.

Yerevan: Yerevan once sat at the crossroads of several important trade caravans thus solidifying its importance in the region. Modern Yerevan was redesigned in the early part of the
20th century on top of the old city, creating a series of parks and squares that run through the city centre. The visit will start with
the visit to the Matenadaran museum, which houses a unique collection of ancient manuscripts covering such lofty topics as philosophy, law, mathematics ,medicine and geography. History Museum of Armenia after visit to the Central Market.

Day 2 - Garni and Geghard
Garni Temple, site of Roman Temple of the Sun built in the 1st century. Soon after Armenia adopted Christianity, the temple became the summer residence of Armenian royalty. Next stop is Geghard –cave Monastery, the name ,,geghard,, derives from the relics of the Armenian Apostolic church: the spear that one of the Roman guards had used to pierce the rib of crucified Christ.Lunch in Garni village with demonstration of Lavash making(Armenian Bread in a special oven,,tonir,,).
Return to Yerevan.

Day 3 - Khor Virap and Noravank.
A short drive from Yerevan will lad you to Khor Virap Monastery, a once famous pilgrimage site and from where you may witness the stunning views of Biblical Mount Ararat. Stop at Areni village for wine tasting at the famous ,,Areni,, factory.
After proceed to Vayots Dzor and visit Monastery of Noravank-one of the most splendid monuments of medieval Armenia, built in a location of significant natural beauty. Here tourists will have time to walk in the canyon of Noravank to enjoy the beautiful landscapes.Proceed to Sevan by Selim pass on the way visiting Selim Caravanserai.Overnight in Sevan. (B. L. D).

Day 4 - Lake Sevan/Dilijan.
Tour to the Lake Sevan-the highest mountainous Lake 2000 m above sea level.Next visit to Dilijan town ,walking in Old Dilijan streets with visiting local arts ad crafts and tasting the national food of the region. Stop at the monastic complex of Haghartsin- a monastery built in a picturesque location, concealed in a forest.Proceed to the border of Georgia.Coach exchange with Georgian partner.
Arrival in Tbilisi.

Day 5- Tbilisi – David Gareji – Signagi - Telavi.
Trip to Kakheti province. We explore David Gareji Monastery. The Monastery is situated in Gareji semi-desert, 75km southeast of Tbilisi. Walk up to Udabno Monastery to explore unique frescos of the 8-13th c. and cave architecture. We travel to Signaghi, a beautiful hill-town providing panoramic vies of Alazani Valley and the Eastern Caucasus Mountains. Here we have lunch. Arrive in Telavi where we have delicious dinner with wine at private house. (B. L. D).

Day 6- Kakheti – Tbilisi
Kakheti, Georgia’s famous wine district, lies due east from Tbilisi in a land dotted with fine old churches and vineyard after vineyard. In Telavi we visit the Palace of Erekle II, the last King of Georgia. Excursion to Gremi architectural complex of the 16th c. Then we travel to Kvareli where we visit "Kindzmarauli Marani" producing some of the best wines in Georgia. Here we taste some sorts of wines (for extra charge) and learn about wine making traditions in Georgia. For lunch we visit a local family. Return Tbilisi. If time permits we visit Ninotsminda Church of the 5th c. en route. Dinner at the restaurant. Hotel. (B. L. D).

Day 7 - Tbilisi & Mtskheta.
Tbilisi, capital of Georgia from the 5th century AD, has a long and fascinating history. Founded in the 4th century by King Vakhtang Gorgasali on the site of its warm mineral-water springs – it developed into the main city of the Caucasus. By the 12th century Tbilisi was one of the most important political, economic and cultural centres of the Middle East. It stood as a key stop on the famous Silk Road - right on the border between Europe and Asia (west and east). Tbilisi’s Old Town, the most ancient part of the city, is renowned for its wonderful mix of cultures. The mosque, the synagogue, the Armenian and Roman Catholic churches mingle harmoniously with the splendid Georgian churches and architecture. The wooden houses with open, carved balconies seem to welcome every visitor. The balmy sulfur baths have hosted poets, writers, musicians, kings down through the centuries. Looking down on the city are Mtatsminda (Holy Mountain) and the 4th century Narikala Fortress, excellent for views on the swirling river Mtkvari (Kura) and this city of so many ages and nationalities.
City tour of Tbilisi with visits to the Old Town, Metekhi Temple, 12th c., the Abanotubani, Narikala, - The main fortress of Tbilisi. Walking through some narrow streets, along which some carpet and souvenir shops are situated. We will continue excursion in the old town. We visit the Sioni Cathedral 11th c. Anchiskhati Church 6th c. Visit Arts Museum, where the masterpieces of Georgian art are kept. Visit Rustaveli Avenue, the main street of Tbilisi.
Then we travel to Mtskheta. Mtskheta, the ancient capital of Georgia is situated 20km from Tbilisi. Historians date the town back to the 2nd millennium B.C. Mtskheta was the capital of Georgian Kingdom of Iberia between 500BC - 500AD. Here Georgians accepted Christianity in 326 . The town and its architectural monuments are listed as the World's Cultural Heritage sites by UNESCO. Visit Jvari Monastery (6th c.) and Svetitskhoveli Cathedral (11th c.). Return to Tbilisi. Dinner at the restaurant. Hotel. (B. L. D).
